Three Exciting Divisions:
🥊 Elite Full Contact Kumite.
Gloved Fighting in the most exciting format.
Real, hard-hitting techniques are allowed, unlike Light Contact Kumite.
This division allows striking to all areas of the body; head, torso, arms, legs. Participants wear protective equipment; headgear, gloves, shin-instep protectors, mouthpiece, groin cup. Juniors must wear body protectors. Female athletes may choose to wear a body protector.
🥊Light Contact Kumite – Gloved Fighting.
This division allows players to strike the scoring zones strongly but the power must be limited so that the players’ head cannot be struck so hard that the head snaps back, and knockouts are prohibited. The goal in this division is to contact the scoring zones such that the player’s balance is affected by the technique but their ability to continue the fight is not impacted.
This division allows striking to all areas of the body; head, torso, arms, legs. Participants wear protective equipment; headgear, gloves, shin-instep protectors, mouthpiece, groin cup.
Juniors must wear body protectors. Female athletes may choose to wear a body protector.
👊 Knockdown Kumite – Bare Fisted Full Contact Fighting – This division allows striking to the torso, arms, and legs. Kicks are allowed to the head but no hand contact to the head.
Participants wear protective equipment; headgear, open-finger gloves, shin-instep protectors, mouthpiece, groin cup.
Juniors must wear body protectors.
Female athletes may choose to wear a body protector.
